This quote means that it is not always suppose to be what you want you’re never going to always have everything go your own way but sometimes it is what you need. Sometimes we want things that we know we arent suppose to do or get. For example when we want things so badly sometimes we don’t see the cons to having what we want. For example we want only what we want but we don’t really see what we need in life to make us a better person. For example when my mom asks me how it went on karate practice i tell her that i don’t like to take karate she tells me it is something that i will need later on in case of an emergency. I thought to myself it is not something i like to do but it’s something i have to do because it is for my own safety. At that moment i thought to myself i may not like it but it is a skill that i will need later on in the future. Sometimes we have to do the things we don’t like because it benefits us in many ways. The only way we can do it correctly and see that we don’t really need the things that we like because sometimes there  are useless at times. Another example would be for all the kids that don’t like school. They come up with every excuse because it simply just doesn’t go with them but what they don’t realize is that’s there key to success because we are doing the things we dont like in order to use it sometime later on when we grow up. We are so focused on the things we desire and what so badly but what we don’t see is that there useless because the things we desire we only like them for like a while and then we stop so it really did benefit us. Afterwards we do things we don’t like we go back and say im glad i did what i didn’t like because now it benefits me.

Ear, Nose and throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities: A ear,nose and throat specialist is an physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment on the ears throat and related structures of the head and the neck.. These doctors have special expertise in managing diseases on the ear, throat, and nose. These doctors are called Otolaryngologist but they can also be referred to a ENT doctor. They focus in the respiratory system. The duties of the Otolaryngologist depend in part on the type of practice and additional specialization.

Salary: $369,790

Education: They have to start practicing after up to 15 years of college and postgraduate training. If they want to have a certification they must first complete college, medical school for about 4 years and at least five of specialty training.

Demand For This Profession: Bachelor’s degree  They have to be patient with their patients.

Reflection: I really wouldn’t want to be a ear nose and throat doctor because it takes too long of a study and then you will still have to do additionally other years to keep study because it is a long process. Even though it is a good pay it is too long of a career to study and train in your time another years in medical school.

This quote means that we always have to be obedient because that's the only way we are going to be happy. If were not obedient and we don't listen to people or to ourselves then we have a high chance of us not being happy anymore because we will be regretting not choosing the right. The only way we can happy is if we are always obedient and choose the right all the time because if we don't we are going to be regretting all the bad things we did all for not being obedient. The key is to get away from all those kids who are trouble makers and stay away from the kids who are not obedient because you pick up bad habits most of the time.

     All of these sources are great for all the students because we get things a little bit easier meaning that its much easier to get to school or understand the homework.  For example the Beyond the bell program helps you with your homework and gives you the chance to choose if you want it in the morning or after school. The service of transportation is great because a lot of kids their parents cant take them to school so they have to walk to with transportation its okay.

This quote means that we always have to do the right thing because if we don't then we get consequences. We always have to do the right because if we don't choose the right we won't  be nice kind people. So what  Alex is trying to tells us is that if we choose the right path and make the correct decisions then we will have great things. When we choose the right then we will feel good happy and all those good vibes but when we choose the wrong its the worst thing you can do because we feel bad we made those decisions. If we choose the right everything will come our way in a positive way but when we choose the wrong we will only have the bad things come our way. If we want to be happy then choosing the right is the only way we can get all those good things and we will feel great about ourselves.

Dermatologist

Duties and Responsibilities: A Dermatologist is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, nails, hair, and its diseases. A dermatologist treats diseases in the widest sense, and some cosmetic problems of the skin, scalp,hair, and the nails. Dermatology involves but is not limited to study,research, and diagnosis of normal and disorders.

Salary:$300,000

Education: College earning a bachelor’s degree. Medical school becoming a medical doctor or osteopathic medicine. Internship of 1 year. Dermatology residency program for at least 3 year.

Demand for this profession: if you want to be a Dermatologist you must  desire to heal people, and you are driven to work long hours of training to achieve your goals. You have to be willing to get a bachelor’s degree in a pre-medical program followed by 7 more years of training.

Reflection: In my opinion I wouldn’t like to be a dermatologist because it takes a lot of years to complete that path as a dermatologist.Even though the pay is good i wouldn’t like to be one because it takes a lot of work to become one and work as one.

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player" By John Wooden

For me this quote means that who we are is more important than winning some victory as a athlete. So for example if you're a really good basketball player but you have a bad attitude it doesn't matter if you win many games because in all you're just a bad player. Many athletes can do both be a great basketball player and have a great personality. When we have a great personality it is easier to be more successful because you have more patience and relaxed about certain things. The only way we can have a good personality is if we do ctr. That's the only way because we need to choose the right all the time so that we can be a great person overall . When we have a great personality we have a higher chance of making things right.

Surgeon

                                                 

Duties and responsibilities: A surgeon is a doctor who performs operations. Surgeons may be physicians, podiatrist,dentist, or veterinarians. Surgeons are also doctors who performs operations that involve cutting into someone’s body in order to repair or remove the damaged or diseased parts. They examine the patients, take their medical histories, prescribe medications in order for them to make surgeries.

Salary:$315,000

Education: Before a  surgeon is qualified to operate they must frost meet the set of challenging education requirements. They must include 4 years of undergraduate study then study 4 years of medical school leading to a doctor degree. Lastly 3 -8 years of surgical  residency at a hospital.

Demand For this Profession: To help people with their medical problems which most of the times are serious.

People who work as surgeons have to like to fix stuff because surgeons usually do that.

People who study anatomy and biology would find this type of job interesting.

 Reflection:When i grow up I would like to work as a surgeon because its a really good career and its something i would enjoy to do. Working in the medical field is really entertaining because you get to help people out in their medical conditions. It does take a lot of time to finish this career but its worth it because we get to help people and you get paid really well.

What this quote is trying to say is that most people believe that money is everything in the world. Instead of having the love they need they believe that people that have more money are the best because they are wealthy. For alot of people wealth means money but thats not what it really is because the wealth that is good for us is the one that comes from the heart. There's people out there that are wealthier than the ones that have alot of money because they have a good heart. Money isn't everything that need instead of money because we can't buy people's love of the heart that have. A lot of people prefer the money because they think money can buy everything but that really isn't the case. The thing that we really need which is wealth comes from the heart because we know that there a good person and that being happy and together is much better than having all the money and ending up all alone. Wealth isn't always money the greatest wealth we can have is from the heart because its memorable than just money because money comes and goes.

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:  Dental assistants perform many tasks, ranging from providing patient care. Dental assistants take ex-rays to keep record and to schedule appointments. They hand the dentist the materials needed during procedure. Dental assistants process ex-rays and complete lab tasks under the direction of a dentist. They make sure that their patient is comfortable in the dental chair and they prepare patients and the work for treatment and procedures.

Salary: $34,740

Education: They must enter a dental program and they have to pass the exam. They need a associate’s degree.

Demand Needed  For This Profession: They need listening skills, Organizational skills, Interpersonal skills, Dexterity, and Detail oriented.

Reflection: In my opinion I wouldn’t like to become a dental assistant because you don’t really do as much work as a dentist. They should have more responsibilities and they the amount of money they get paid isn’t as much as a dentist. They should get more things to do because all they do is basically paper  work and they should get to do more that’s why i dont want to become a dental assistant.

Chiropractor

Duties and responsibilities:

  Chiropractor provide additional treatments, and analyze the patient’s posture in the spine. They also refer to other medical specialist when the patients need it. Chiropractor provide musculoskeletal therapy which involves adgusting patients spinal cord when they need it,

Salary: $66,160

Education:

They have to have at least 4 years of professional study and that includes a 4 year college persistent.

Demand for this profession:

They must take more years to in the study to make it in the the Chiropractor business.

 Reflection: I wouldnt like to be  a chiropractor because its too many years of studying its a good pay but its too long of a career to study.

Dentist

Duties and Responsibilities: A dentist is known in the United States as a dental surgeon.who specializes in dentistry. They assess treatment options and agreeing treatment plans with patients. Dentist examine the teeth and diagnose the patient dental conditions by using ex-rays. They correct dental issues and treat serious injuries

Salary: 150,000

Education: Doctoral or professional degree

Demand For This Profession:  They need to obtain a bachelor”s prior to entering dental school. If there not specific requiered undergraduate degree in requiered.

Reflection: I would want to become a dentist because its a good career to study in the future and it will come in handy to learn about this career. Many people dont like the dentist but its a good career when you learn more stuff about this topic.

This quote means that when we do wrong we have to feel bad foe the actions that we caused. When we do we have to be honest and accept our bad choices its the only way we feel good because were being honest. Many people say that when they do bad they feel bad but in reality they don't because they know what they did was wrong and they are going to feel guilty later on. For example when we get a test and we know we havent studies we know that were not going to pass and thats when we make the wrong choices to cheat. At first we feel good because we think that was our work but in reality were taking credit for something we didn't do and thats when the guilt comes in and makes us feel bad. When we do wrong its important to own up to our consequences because the longer we keep the secret that more guilt were going to have. Another example is when we have permission from our parents to go out with our friends and we lie to them. We tell them we were just hanging out when to eat. When they ask again they notice that we were lying and that makes it worse because we get a harder punishment.

This quote means that when you do something good you feel great, relaxed, and calm. But when you do bad you feel bad because you know what you did is wrong. When you do bad you feel like its in your conscious because its always going to be reminding you of the bad decision you  made. For example, when i get  good grades on my test i feel good because i know that my grades are very important and i get rewarded. But the one time i decided that listening to my parents wasn't a good idea and i should do what i want i felt bad because i chose wrong. When we make the right decisions we feel good because we know that our action was really good and that later on we will remember the greatness we did for choosing the right path. When we do bad it doesn't feel that good because we know our actions weren't the correct ones and that were going to look back and regret doing those decisions.  This quote symbolizes how when we do good we feel so much better and when we do bad we feel terrible and we have consequences to our actions. For example when we do good we don't  get punished were free and get to do things we like but when we do wrong we get punished and regret the actions that we did.

  I believe this quote is very inspiring because its true. The more obedient we are with people the more freedom we will have to do things we want.  If were not as obedient we wont have freedom towards the things we want because we are choosing the wrong way to build our lives. If we are always obedient we will have the key to freedom by showing others that we choose the right and that we are very well educated. If were not obedient then we really aren't going to be free because everyday we get tested on obedience no matter what and its up to us make sure were obedient, we choose the right, and then we get to  live the life we all want. The only way to make it in life is by doing ctr and being obedient because without those we will be one the bad kids and not care what we do. But if we want to be happy grow up with an education we need to be obedient listen to the ones that tell you things for your own good because they don't want you to loose your education for choosing the wrong path in life.
   

911 Memorials

On September 11,2001 they were terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group on the United States and it all started in the morning. The attacks killed more than 2,996 people,  injured more than 6,000 others and caused at least $10 billion  in property. The twin towers collapsed because the 4 passengers airliners operated by 2 U.S carriers they were hijacked by the terrorist. In within an hour and 42 minutes both 110-story towers collapsed. There was fires, other, buildings were collapsing as well and another plane was crashed into the pentagon. These attacks cost thousands and thousands of people getting hurt. When I first heard about the 9/11 I didn't think it was much of a big deal but it really did cause a lot of damage not only to the buildings and all but also to a lot of people were killed by the attacks.  More than 3 planes crashed in total to buildings causing a lot of damages and in my opinion during the 9/11 families must have been devastated to lose their loved ones all because of an attack. I find it unfair because a lot of innocent people died and it wasn't even there fault.

Thomas S. Monson Experience

Thomas S. Monson learned a very important lesson when he was 8 years old because he learned how being disobedient has big consequences. At the time Thomas was young he didn't know as much as he knows now. He was being disobedient to his parents when they told him to not play with matches and he did it anyway not knowing something bad would have happened. He wanted to go out and have a camping sleepover. Him and his friend Danny went and thought they could pull out the grass with just their hands. But when they actually tried it it was impossible. That's when Thomas and Danny thought about burning the grass so they can have a camping sleepover. At that moment Thomas was being disobedient and got the matches thinking the fire was going to stop anytime they wanted. When they saw the fire was getting bigger and they didn't know what was gonna happen. So they decided to call for help and they put the fire down but that they learned a very important lesson that '' Obedience is the great test of life''.

  This quote is very inspiring because we have to be obedient no matter what and how much it takes. Being obedient is a big part of life because we get tested everyday in being obedient. We get to make a choice and if were obedient to our adults or anyone who asks for something it makes you a better person. Every day we get tested in being obedient because we go to school and our parents are always telling us or giving instructions. It depends on us whether we choose the right or we choose the wrong. being obedient is a test because everyone gets to see how you are especially like when you want a job or go somewhere. In everything you have to be obedient  not disobedient. When were obedient it makes our life much easier because you will get a great profession because you already know how to be obedient. Without obedience it will be hard to keep going in life because you wont have as much problems in life being obedient.

This quote makes me think how education is very important in life especially to people who are barely starting to create their own life. Education is very important because without education it would be harder to make a successful life. If we want to have a good life then education has to be the key because in all that you do education is always needed.  Education we all need it because its something that we use daily. We go to school to learn and we need to take advantage because education is something we need to progress later on in the future. Even though some kids don't like school they know whats important to their future they know the requirements in order to make it in life. Without education we wouldn't be able to make it in life as  a successful student or person because we dont have the education. I believe that Gordon is trying to tells us that overall what we basically need is to get our education so we can proceed in life and be as successful as we can be.   We have to take education as something serious so we can have a good life and be successful and not end up without a good career.
