Ear, Nose and throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities: A ear,nose and throat specialist is an physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment on the ears throat and related structures of the head and the neck.. These doctors have special expertise in managing diseases on the ear, throat, and nose. These doctors are called Otolaryngologist but they can also be referred to a ENT doctor. They focus in the respiratory system. The duties of the Otolaryngologist depend in part on the type of practice and additional specialization.


Salary: $369,790


Education: They have to start practicing after up to 15 years of college and postgraduate training. If they want to have a certification they must first complete college, medical school for about 4 years and at least five of specialty training.


Demand For This Profession: Bachelor’s degree  They have to be patient with their patients.




Reflection: I really wouldn’t want to be a ear nose and throat doctor because it takes too long of a study and then you will still have to do additionally other years to keep study because it is a long process. Even though it is a good pay it is too long of a career to study and train in your time another years in medical school.
