Duties and Responsibilities:  Dental assistants perform many tasks, ranging from providing patient care. Dental assistants take ex-rays to keep record and to schedule appointments. They hand the dentist the materials needed during procedure. Dental assistants process ex-rays and complete lab tasks under the direction of a dentist. They make sure that their patient is comfortable in the dental chair and they prepare patients and the work for treatment and procedures.
Salary: $34,740


Education: They must enter a dental program and they have to pass the exam. They need a associate’s degree.


Demand Needed  For This Profession: They need listening skills, Organizational skills, Interpersonal skills, Dexterity, and Detail oriented.


Reflection: In my opinion I wouldn’t like to become a dental assistant because you don’t really do as much work as a dentist. They should have more responsibilities and they the amount of money they get paid isn’t as much as a dentist. They should get more things to do because all they do is basically paper  work and they should get to do more that’s why i dont want to become a dental assistant.
