Student Success Statement

“Don’t sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often”

This quote means that we shouldn’t ruin the things that we will want and will need. So just because we want to go out and have fun with friends we don’t have to sacrifice what we want. For example if i want to become a great surgeon i won’t sacrifice anything to do the opposite like go out with friends or watch t.v all day. If i sacrifice a lot of for the things i want but i don’t need it is kinda dumb because the fun/joy will only last you or a little while. When we sacrifice things we don’t really need later on we will regret it because we need to do otherwise and sacrifice for the things we really need. Sometimes we think twice but yet we still choose the wrong answer. If we want something that we need then we will be doing such a great thing because after that we will feel great with ourselves. This quote is also telling us that we are doing good by writing in our career journals thinking and analyzing what is best and what we want to accomplish.

                                           School Homecomings

History:

Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating a school's existence. It is a tradition in many high schools and colleges in the United States.  May schools celebrate homecoming because they get a chance to come together and welcome back the students and the new incomers.

When is it celebrated?:

Homecomings are usually celebrated in the late September or in early October.Homecomings are  typically defined by a football game followed by a semi-formal dance. There may even be a parade or a school spirit week to announce this event.

Etiquettes:

During high school homecoming, there are special rules of etiquette students should follow. For example there shouldn’t be any alcohol, drugs, or even things getting out of hand.

In my opinion homecomings are  meant for kids to have fun and just relax to have a good time.

Reflection: In my opinion homecomings are just gatherings people/students do. They do dances and all of that as a tradition when we come back from summer break. There’s a lot of etiquettes but there are many ways we can have fun in a homecoming.

A Good Name

‘A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life”

   This quote means that when we are good examples for others we earn a good image and people think that we are such good people that’s exactly what we want to let them know we are good and we can have a good name. WE may accomplish a lot of achievements but the one achievement that is more important is to get a good name because if we don’t people are going to think the worst of us. When we achieve the best goals in life no one will really pay attention to us because they know us as bad, trouble makers, and the bad reputation we might have. If we create a name of us now then people will think good about us and they will be very greatful when we tell them about our accomplishments in life.Sometimes the only thing we need is to get a good name that way we can be good and not get punished because when we have a good name people are different with us and they know what we are worthy of doing. Theres many obstacles but it we set our minds to it then we will be able to accomplish them no matter what.

One of the top careers in canada the Software Engineer. They get paid $88,005 that’s the median salary. This is a good career in Canada because there has been an increase in Canada of computer science graduates in the recent years. They don’t get as much money as they receive in the U.S.

Spain: One of the top careers in spain is the IT: those the tech jobs they advertise online from software testers with French to program with the Dutch.

   In Brazil the work in mainly for the foreign workers. They need to have a high skilled knowledge to get to work as a foreign worker. They also focus in the job of networking that has become very important in the recent years and it is extremely important in securing the work.

“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.”

This reflection means that it is better to have a good reputation than have all the money in the world. If we were asked to be interviewed they have all of our information but if we don’t have a great reputation they will think that we aren’t as qualified for the job. We get to choose who we want to be known as. We can be known as many things but we don’t want them to be bad because that makes other people think that we are bad people and that will be the way that people know who we are. Despite the fact that riches give you everything that really doesn’t buy you happiness or love etc. For example, before the brand new school that youre going to gets to know you they already know how you are because we have a reputation to people they get to see our records and if it’s all good then you get placed in a good class. Many people believe that money/riches is everything but it really isn’t because they really aren’t happy with what they have or how people see them. To have a good name towards the people is really good because we get all the good stuff like for example when we are bad and people think that we don’t get that much freedom as someone who has a good name because they get to have all the freedom they want. No matter how hard we try we will never be that satisfied with all the riches we might have because our name says it all.

         Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:  Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They can develop the strategies to that the patient can improve the health of the individual and the community.  They also collect the data and they discuss health concerns of specific populations or communities.

Reflection:I would not like to be a health educator because it really isn’t a career i would like to study. I wouldn’t like to study it because it seems like they do help out a lot and that is great but it really isn’t something i would like to do.

This statement is telling us to make sure that if we believe in something to speak out and make others see the way we actually think. Many of us don’t have the courage to stand up and speak for ourselves. If we don’t have the courage to stand up for ourselves then we really need to work on that because it makes us look much better when we speak up for what we actually believe. Once we speak up then we will be an example for others whom like us were scared at first. For example, when we see someone getting getting bullied of being teased we should show them that they need to speak up so they understand what they are doing isn’t correct. When we are with our friends we do things because we want to be like them but what we don’t realize is that we are only doing bad. For example sometimes friends pick on other kids and we don’t say anything about it for the reason that we want to fit in and that isn’t correct because we are being as mean as they are. All it takes to stand up is courage with us speaking up  weather its for us or a friend it is still good because now we  are the leaders for the other people who get shy and nervous to speak up for them selves. If we don’t speak up then we won’t be a leader we will be just like the other kids.

They are pediatrics that consist of the medical care of the newborn babies. If the newborn is ill they are require special medication and treatment. Ilness such as low birth weight, intrauterine growth retardation, or birth asphyxias. Neonatologist are trained to handle the most complex and high risk situations. If your newborn is premature, or has a serious illness, injury, or birth defect, a neonatologist may assist at the time of delivery and in the subsequent care of your newborn.If a problem is identified before your baby is born, a neonatologist may become involved to consult with your obstetrician in your baby’s care during your pregnancy.

• At least 4 years of medical school
• 3 years of residency training in pediatrics

Demands for this profession:  They have to have a  genuine passion for caring their patients. They need to learn how to treat a newborn baby. They have to be willing to work long hours to provide all the health care needed. They need to learn to work under pressure and stress.

Reflection: I my opinion i would like to become a neonatologist because it is a very interesting career to me and it can benefit me in alot of ways. I like to work with children and take care of them and it really would be a very good career to study.

This quote means that if we truly are a ctr person we will become great human beings and then we will have a lot of blessings coming out own way.  Meaning we don’t need anyone else trying to discipline us because no matter what we need to do it for our own good because when we have good things coming our way we want to be able and say im glad i became a good person by myself. If we always choose the right then we won’t be able to become a bad person because we are always choosing the right and we know that no matter what we will always do the right thong. If we don’t choose the right then we won’t always have to deal with the consequences we create.  If we want to be a CTR champion then we have to start and make a change in ourselves first because then we turn out to be good human beings. For example when we are on a sports team but every  time we lose we start to get mad we have to change that because it is a game yes we do compete but you have to be a good human being so good things can still happen for you. If we always do CTR then we will become CTR champions because we are going to become good human beings.

Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental Health professionals are everywhere and they hold a variety of job titles. They inspect environmental health systems to make sure that they are in compliance with local state and regulations. The regulations are set by the government.

Reflection: I would not like to be a environmental health specialist because it is alot of work and my eyes are allergic to all the pollen stuff out there.

For me this quote means that when we plan a goal is much easier to get because you already have it planned and its ready to go. On the other hand if we don't plan our goal ahead of time at the last minute were going to want to accomplish it and it is not going to be that easy because now we don't have enough time.For example if we want to graduate from high school then we have to start planning our goal since now because if we don't by the time that graduation comes we wont be ready and were going to want to pass. When we set our goal it will be easier to achieve it because now we wont have to struggle and since now we will start to work on it so we can achieve it. Many of people think that not planning your goal is okay but in reality it is not because now we have to work  twice as hard to accomplish what we need to accomplish. When we have  a goal set then we can start to work on it and accomplish it must faster but when we don't have it set then we take forever to accomplish our goals. It is better to have the goals ready and set because now we can go ahead and start to plan other goals we might want to accomplish. Some goals take time to accomplish but we have to accomplish them as soon as we can because sometimes it is too late. 

Christopher Columbus

Columbus Day is a national holiday in many countries in the Americas and somewhere which officially celebrates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus. Columbus day is when we honor the discovery of the Western Hemisphere by Christopher Columbus and the beginning of the European colonization. Christopher Columbus was the man that discovered the “New World” of the Americans in the expedition sponsored by King Ferdinand of Spain in 1492. Explorer and navigator Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 in the Republic of Genoa, Italy. He had his first voyage to the Atlantic Ocean in 1476 that trip was very dangerous it almost caused him his life. On his first expedition Columbus was attacked by French privateers off the coast of Portugal. Columbus and his people made a journey to visit the islands of Cuba Hispniola and meeting with leaders of the native population.  Columbus led his three ships to The nina,the pinta, and the santa maria out of the spanish port of Palos on August 3 1442.  Columbus discovered the southern ‘’Trades’’ that in the future would fuel the sailing ships to the new world.

This quote means that once we learn to be obedient then we will have most of our goals set. When we are obedient we get to decide what our goal actually is and it won’t be that hard as when we haven’t mastered being obedient because then we can be set and we won’t have to be struggling that much anymore because know obedience is one of the keys to help us succeed in our goal. In the beginning we believe that being obedient really isn’t that important but it really is because once we learned to be obedient then our goals will be much easier to concur. Many of us think that being obedient doesn’t work but it really does because when we are obedient then we have more building blocks so we can reach our goal. But when we are being disobedient instead of getting more building blocks we are getting more stumbling blocks which doesn’t help us reach our goal.  Sometimes the only way to get to our goal is by being obedient because we don’t really need to be disobedient to what they are telling us because it all changes and we struggle more to reach our goal.

Depending on the lab, clinical lab technicians can work with different specimens, like blood and tissue samples. Lab technicians they perform various test, experiments, and procedures.

This quote means that if we want to learn how to do something the first step to that is to start little by little. We start of slow but then we get the hang of it and start getting better after a while. When we don't want to learn we don't do anything and we end up not learning. Sometimes is is better to fall and get back up. It is better than just giving up and not trying to succeed. The best way to succeed is to fail first and then try to get better after a while has passed. No matter how many times we have failed we know we can try harder and we will learn. For example when we were little we didn't know how to do anything read write or talk. But we learned by just mumbling and no one understood us what we trying to say. Its a good experience but it is difficult because you fail and then you need to get back up.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible for rushing to the crisis and they can perform basic life-saving techniques. They are referred to EMT and they are workers who assess the conditions of the patients and then they determine the course of action needed. Meanwhile the the patients are being taken to the hospital the EMT provide these patients with medical support.EMT respond to criminal violence, natural disasters,fires, and land accidents. These workers use ambulance plane, or helicopter.

Salary:$31,020

Education: must be 18 with a high school diploma

Reflection: In my opinion i would not like to become a EMT because in order to be that you have to have a lot of skills as any normal doctor but it doesn’t pay that good as a doctor would.
