Private Investigator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interview people to gather information
• Search records to uncover clues
• Conduct surveillance
• Collect evidence to present to court
• Investigate computer crimes and information theft
• Verify employment, income and other facts about the person

Salary: Median wage is $45,740  and the top ten percent earn $79,790

Education: HIgh school diploma is usually required. Some of the jobs available require a 2 or 4 year degree and they must have a working experience. If you don’t have working experience then  after graduating college you must earn a bachelor’s degree or associate's in criminal justice or police science.

Reflection:  I would like to become a private investigator because it is very interesting to be looking after someone finding out information. I would also like to become one because I love mystery I like figuring out puzzles and the missing pieces it’s very interesting to work as a private investigator.
