Student Success Statement

“ Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creativity intellectual activity, The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the  mind is subtle and complex. Much is not understood. But we know what the Greeks knew:  that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong,”
By: President John F. Kennedy

This quote is telling us how  the importance of the body is when it is healthy.  When we are physically healthy then during an important we are giving it the best we can it isn’t like the half best of nothing we give our all because we are healthy. When we get sick then we don’t do as much because our body isn’t healthy like it should be . The importance of  physical fitness is that we need to be active  and  ready at all time because then we can succeed.  If we are not healthy then we won’t succeed because we are always  down and it ruins our day. For example when  we are sick and have a fever, we go to school and have a test we won’t give it all we have because our physical body is  not healthy.  When we are healthy and strong then we know we can do anything because our bodies can handle that. The Greeks understood that our intelligence and the special skills we have only function when our body is  healthy and on good point. If we have a test and we are  physically healthy then we can  succeed because the body is very healthy so the mind is on 100%. But sadly when we are sick then  the mind isn’t at 100% so we lose focus.
